An eternal gift

Give a gift that will lift their spirits and touch their heart

Imagine the smile on someone’s face when they learn that a life has been changed - in their name!

In honor of their birth, bar/bat mitzvah, wedding, or birthday, an orphaned child in Israel will receive hot meals, love from their dorm parents, schooling, and a place to call home.

Your gift paves the way to a child’s future and transforms Israel for the better. What more could anyone ask for?

What is the mission of Migdal Ohr?

Migdal Ohr means “tower of light” in Hebrew and serves as a beacon of hope to thousands of orphaned and neglected children.

We serve over 10,000 children every year and raise them to become thriving, successful adults. Migdal Ohr gives children the support and education they need to overcome socio-economic barriers and realize their full potential.

Migdal Ohr was established in 1972 by Israel Prize Winner Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Grossman to ensure that each of Israel’s orphaned, abused, and neglected children would have a bright future, regardless of where they came from.

Decades later, we remain fervently committed to that mission and dedicated to strengthening Israel’s next generation from the ground up.

Today, Migdal Ohr’s network of services and programs provide everything from a child’s most basic needs - clothing, medical care, family structure, and emotional support -  to education, vocational training, mentorship, and more.
